We are looking to recruit for the following positions:

Continuous Improvement Facilitator

As manufacturers of metal pressings and copper busbars, we have created a position for a Continuous Improvement Facilitator to develop and implement improvement programmes and to minimise cost for both company and customer. You will have a successful record in a continuous improvement role and knowledge of lean tools and techniques, be able to negotiate at all levels and drive through change.

Press Toolmaker

We are looking to recruit a Toolmaker to repair and modify tooling and to assist in the continuous improvement of tooling by means of experience and knowledge.

knowledge of working in a similar environment is essential for this role as is being a good team player.

the main duties will be

• to carry out tool repairs to multistage progression tools and second operation tools and fixtures
• modify tooling to improve production
• to assist in the continuous improvement ideas for making tooling more reliable
• to assist in the training of apprentices and trainees as required

you must have a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role and must be apprentice trained

Estimator

We are currently looking to recruit an Estimator to prepare quotations in accordance with our current profit margin policy to ensure that all quotations are realistically priced according to the client specifications and will involve working to tight deadlines to ensure that all of our customer's deadlines are met. This role will require someone with excellent negotiation and organisational skills together with a high level of commercial acumen.

We are looking for someone who ideally has a presswork or tool making background with a technical qualification, mechanical apprenticeship and or previous experience as an Estimator quoting mechanical components. For this position we would also consider applications from "Cost Accountants with experience in manufacturing"
