Green Initiatives

We have signed up with PLATO:Sustain, for a two year programme of business improvement, which is coupled very closely to sustainability.
This programme is funded, through SEEDA (South East England Development Agency), by the European Regional Development Fund.

To fast track our initiatives in resource efficiency we are also attending meetings funded by MAS (Manufacturing Advisory Service) and delivered by Optimorph Ltd.
These meetings are putting us in direct contact with Envirowise and the Carbon Trust. Both of these organisations provide a great deal of valuable information, advice and support, which will help us reduce our use of resources whilst adding value to the business and controlling costs for the benefit of our customers.

Our first major initiative, has been to invest in an Energy Management System, this will control space heating and result in an annual saving of 23 tonnes of CO2 emissions, reducing our carbon footprint by some 4%.
